There are many different types of residence permit in Georgia: study, work, special, and if you own real estate in the country worth more than $100,000 or your investment exceeds $300,000.
Short term residence permit - is issued to a foreigner and his/her family members, if the foreigner owns a real estate (except for agricultural land) in accordance with the regulations prescribed by law of Georgia, the price of which exceeds USD 100 000 equivalent in GEL. The term of such a residence permit is 1 year and can be extended at the end of each year. If this type of right of residence lasts for more than 5 years, the owner can submit an application for permanent residence.
Investment residence permit - is issued to a foreign citizen who invested at least USD 300 000 equivalent in GEL in Georgia. this provision is prescribed in the Law of Georgia on Promotion and Guarantees of investment. in such cases, residence permits are also issued to the investor’s family members, which include a spouse, underage dependent and/or fully dependent incapacitated person; term of this type of residence is 5 years, and after the expiration, it is possible to request permanent residence.

Prescribed form filled in at the House of Justice, along with a photo. (which you can take in Justice house)
Passport, translated into Georgian and notarized is recommended.
Proof of legal stay/stamp.
Extract from the public register of real estate.
Certified real estate appraisal report, which you can get from us .
Documentation confirming the investment.
